The New Zealand Ministry of Economic Development has issued a final ruling on the fourth review investigation of China's bristle brushes and brush heads (tariff code 9603.40.40) launched on July 11, 2008, and has decided to maintain the imposition of anti-dumping duties. From the date of the announcement, each imported product from China will be subject to anti-dumping duties based on the normal value calculated by the New Zealand Department of Economic Development for each model of the product (see attached table), with the amount being the difference between the normal value and the export price.

On May 30, 1988, the New Zealand investigative agency finally determined that there was dumping of my bristle brush for new exports and imposed anti-dumping duties. This is New Zealand's first anti-dumping investigation into Chinese products. The new party conducted three re examination investigations in 1992, 1997, and 2003, all of which ruled to maintain taxation.

As of now, New Zealand has imposed anti-dumping duties on the product produced in China for up to 20 years.
